Cell Phone and Twigs

For this assignment we were told to take our cell phone and a twig and to use our view finders to narrow in on the specifics of each object. I had a hard time at the beginning of the drawings because I wasn't sure if I was being too specific or if there wasn't enough detail. I really liked doing these drawings. I could really get into them and I felt like I couldn't really go wrong with what I did. I also was confused about when and where I should color, and I thought that I was creating too much contrast. However once I was finished I realized how I liked the drawings a lot more because of the great amount of contrast. It helps the pictures to stand out a lot more and to be much more bold.
